God Gave Us So Much Review

Hi everyone! This is my first book to review. I hope you enjoy and go and get this book. It is awesome! Please let me know what you think of this review and check out my review on http://waterbrookmultnomah.com/bloggingforbooks/blogger/books and rate it for me. Thanks!

God Gave Us So Much contains three books in one. They are all told through the eyes of a polar bear family. The main character is Little Cub, a curious little girl.

The first of these stories is called God Gave Us the World and it explores the different types of bears in the world. It discusses God as the Creator of the universe. Here is a quote from that story: "God created our world and everything in it, because it's in his nature to create." Little Cub is the main character and she asks Mama Bear about all the different kinds of bears and where they live. Mama Bear explains why God made different kinds of bears and where they live.

God Gave Us Love is the second story and is about Little Cub wondering why and how she can love others even though she may not like them. Grampa Bear is answering the questions in this story and does so by reflecting on God's love for us. Here is a quote from this story: "...we know God loves us because he sent his Son to save us, to show us the way."

God Gave Us Heaven is the third story in this book. Papa Bear and Little Cub are having a discussion about heaven and what it will be like and how to get there. Papa Bear answers all of Little Cub's questions about what heaven will be like and who will be there. They also talk about when and how you go to heaven. It is a sensitive subject to discuss death and the afterlife with children but this story is a wonderful way to start a conversation. Here is a quote from that story: "God loves us and never wants to be far from us. He's made a way for us to be with him forever, in heaven."
I loved this book and would highly recommend it to anyone with children or grandchildren. The illustrations in this book are wonderful and so cute. You really can see how curious Little Cub can be. I will enjoy sharing this book with my children.

God Bless,

Kristy
